Checking…

Spelling and style checks run in your browser. Only the paragraph you just edited is sent for grammar checking.

    What it does

The checks above run as you type. Here is the rest of the editor, with each part numbered.

    1. Grammar, one paragraph at a time

When you pause, only that paragraph is checked. Each suggestion is a small edit, verified against your text before it appears.

    2. Rewrite a selection

Select a sentence and make it shorter, simpler, more formal or friendlier. The new version sits next to the old one; only the selection changes.

    3. Your style guide

Write rules like “PostgreSQL, not Postgres”, or import an existing guide and keep the rules you want. They apply in every document.

    4. Readability

Reading ease, grade level, long sentences and reading time, from the standard formulas.

    5. Autosave without overwrites

Work saves as you go. If another tab changed the same document, you choose which version to keep.

    6. Export

Word with headings and lists intact, Markdown, plain text, or print to PDF.
